Prudence Leasing is a fully independent company, established in 2001 under the name of Prudence Leasing Finance Co. Ltd.
Our core business over the years has been to facilitate the acquisition of vehicles and equipment by individuals and businesses by providing them with the necessary funding.
We are a human-sized company solidly rooted in entrepreneurial values, operating with the conviction that each customer is unique, has different needs, and is entitled to our undivided attention.
Regulated by the Bank of Mauritius and the Financial Services Commission, Prudence Leasing is also licensed to offer investment opportunities through fixed deposits.
La Prudence Leasing Finance Co. Ltd was rated A- with a healthy growth and stable outlook by CARE Ratings (Africa) Private Limited, the first credit rating agency licensed by the Financial Services Commission and recognized as External Credit Assessment Institution by the Bank of Mauritius. As at 31 December 2023, the Company has maintained a comfortable Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of 17.91% well above the minimum regulatory limit of 10%.

Conscious of our duty towards the community, Prudence Leasing has financially supported these initiatives geared towards minimizing social marginalization and protecting our natural heritage:
- The Diocesan Technical Education Service, which aims to train and educate disadvantaged young people in a situation of academic failure through its three centres:
- St-Gabriel Technical College (Sainte Croix)
- St-Monfort Technical Centre (Route Nicolay, Port-Louis)
- René Verbruggen Technical Centre (Souillac)
- Haemophilia Association of Mauritius, which works to improve and sustain treatment of people with haemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders.
- Etoile d’Espérance, an NGO which helps women affected by alcoholic problems.
- The Mauritius Wildlife Foundation, which deals with the conservation and preservation of endangered animal and plant species.
- TIPA, whose mission is to empower vulnerable children to become active citizens in Mauritian society by promoting their development through interactive pedagogy and education to art and culture.
- Link to Life, whose mission is to provide support and counselling to cancer patients and their families.
- APPEL (Association for Tears), whose mission is to support the homeless of the capital, Port-Louis, and manage a night shelter and a day care centre in Roche-Bois.
